Introducing Dr. Ian Hastie

Dr. Ian Hastie has had a very full career. After 20 years as chief of emergency medicine at Wellesley Hospital in Toronto and a stint as president of the Toronto chapter of the Nobel Peace Prize-winning group International Physicians for the Prevention of Nuclear War, he spent 14 years in the Sultanate of Oman helping to develop the medical system there. Now he works part-time in the emergency department of Huntsville Hospital and teaches students of the Northern Ontario School of Medicine.
