Since retiring to her Menominee Lake cottage with her husband in 1986, Doris Gonder has volunteered countless hours to a variety of organizations in Huntsville, most notably Fairvern Nursing Home, several churches in Baysville, the Baysville Autumn Leaves, Muskoka Seniors, the Canadian Cancer Society and Baysville Horticultural Society.
